Mr. Leemon Ravi

(Founder, National Coordinator & Karnataka State Coordinator)

Mr. Leemon Ravi has started his career as a Quality engineer in Siemens after the successful completion of B.E - Mechanical (Gold Medalist) from LBS college of Engineering. His association with Ockwen Financial solutions as a Cadd engineer, ICICI bank as a financial officer and HDFC bank as a Territory manager has helped him to excel his career as an entrepreneur. As the Chairman and Managing Director of Golden Era Group Of Companies (GERG), he is currently associated with many business projects in financial, housing and software segments.

With a vast experience of more than 17+ years in financial, engineering and software segments his vision is to revolutionize the group company concept by infusing and nurturing young and creative minds backed by pioneers in the respective areas.

He has authored a book called "Colors Of Life" on August 2021. The money from sales of the book goes to Uthhan Charitable Trust for uplifting Indian artisans.

           





Mr. Dhanunjaya.B

( Bellary,Karnataka )

He started his career at an younger age as a social worker. He worked closely with Government bodies for supporting backward class people in Bellary (Karnataka State) and Telengana Region. He was instrumental in obtaining Government grants for social empowerment schemes in various regions in Telengana. He teamed up with social workers for rebuilding the destroyed houses in flood affected regions of Telengana. He has 19 years experience in liasoning and Government contracts.

WHY I JOINED UTHHAN?
Since 19 years I am into social work. So this is the time to uplift economically backward class of artisans across India. I came to know regarding this organisation and realized that this is the best organisation to uplift Indian culture and to exhibit handicraft products of my country to the World thereby empowering our Indian artisans

 




Dr. Praveen Singh

( Vijayanagara,Karnataka )

Dr. Praveen Singh hails from Hampi in Vijayanagara District in Karnataka and holds a Ph.D. in Sports Science from Gulbarga University. He excelled his carer as a volleyball player for Gulbarga University and represented Karnataka State at the National level. He underwent a vigorous training course at the Sports Authority of India to mold him as a professional volleyball coach. He also worked as a Sports Coordinator for the CSR initiative in JSW steel. As a sports Coordinator, he was a part of the local talent hunt program and uplifted the sports among the CSR adopted villages. Karnataka Volley Ball team continues to be in top position because of the local players from these villages.

WHY I JOINED UTHHAN?
I wants to ensure the growth and development of local artisans of Hampi through Uthhan.

 





MR.Naveen .M .N

( Tumakuru ,Karnataka )

Mr.Naveen has started his career as a Civil Engineer in Akshaya properties and is working as a consulting Civil Engineer With Golden Era Property (GERG group) since 2014. He is graduated from The Oxford College Of Engineering, Bengaluru in BE ( CIVIL) . He has also founded a construction company called “NAVEENS SHELTERS” in Bengaluru in the year 2017. He further started a real estate marketing company in Bangalore called “VISION REALTY".

WHY I JOINED UTHHAN?
“UTHHAN”- Empowering Artisans as the name indicates stands for the upliftment of economically backward class of artisans in India. I understand the challenges faced by economically backward society of people since I am from an agricultural family background. Because even I was also came from economically backward class. And also I have seen the lot of poor Girijans Artisans & peoples in forest & hill areas. I Voluntarily & Heart fully joined as a District Coordinator to serve the underprivileged Artisans by uplifting their lifestyle. I will also build a strong self interested volunteers team taluk wise in district area. I also want to support UTHHAN to fight for the rights of artisans by ensuring proper implementation of Govt . schemes for handicraft sector.

Brigadier Amardeep Singh

(National Defence Academy (NDA) and Indian Military Academy(IMA) )

An alumnus of National Defence Academy (NDA) and Indian Military Academy (IMA), Brig Amardeep Singh has had an illustrious carrier spanning over three decades in the army and over six years in the corporate. A post graduate in Management and Higher Defence Management course, he brings along extensive domain knowledge of operations, logistics and supply chain management.

Has extensive experience in counter insurgency and with the elite Parachute Brigade. He brings along extensive experience of both war and peace time soldiering. Has executed numerous successful operations as part of airborne forces, the Kargil war and provided multi-pronged supply chains support to our forces in all terrains. He has been an instructor twice at a premiere logistics training establishment responsible for training men and officers of our army as well as foreign armies. He has been as assessor with the Services Selection Centre. He is an avid sportsman and an adventure enthusiast. A cricketer, squash player a rider of note. He is a sky-diver with over 150 para jumps and free-falls. He has been a car rallyist and a bike rallyist too.

After premature retirement, he has been VP (Projects & Facilities) of an Infrastructure company, the COO of Adithyashree Infrastructure and additionally, the President of an Adventure Park and a Corporate cum SSB training Academy. He is presently the CEO of ‘Guardwell Prime Services’.

Mr. Vijay Kumar

Mr. Vijay Kumar started his career from 1996, as a Medical Technologist after his successful completion of BMLT & DECG Course from Cochin, Kerala. He started practicing in Jharkhand associated with the hospital & worked as a social worker with Bokaro steel city. He later joined hands with LJP, led by Ram Vilas Paswan in 2002 as Dist. General Secretary and promoted to the State committee of Jharkhand in a few years.

He is holding the position of Managing Partner of Marvel sign Inc which gives services to major companies like ITC Limited, Vodafone Mobile Services Ltd, Jio telecommunication Ltd, Bharti Airtel Ltd, Tata Tele Services Ltd. Etc. He is also the National Secretary of LJP. Through UTHHAN he wants to unify and eradicate the poverty of artisan families at Jharkhand region through global exposure of their artifacts.






Mr. Mohinder Patravali

Mr.Mohinder Patravali holds Master’s Degree in Management and Finance. He has Vast experience in Finance & technology Industry. He started his career with Leading Bank as a Trainee and has worked across Retail, Lending, and Treasury & IT Teams and Post which moved to IT consulting firms working across Geos in Various roles with Strategy & Advisory Positions. With his vast & varied experience in Industry & connects, he is mentoring start up in stealth mode and implemented his best knowledge and skillsets in bringing laurels.

He is actively involved in Socio-Economic Causes related to Environment, Social welfare & Inclusion Among his other interests, he is also a Foodie & Athlete(Professional Cricketer & never misses his daily Jog). His proclivity towards NGOs, social causes and welfare are also impeccable. His immense get-go attitude and creative work nature make him a competitive person in all fields. He visualizes to implement pragmatic strategies to empower traditional artisans through UTHHAN.

     





Mr. Tathagata Majumder (Late)

Tathagata is a seasoned client management leader within both developed and emerging markets in the Asia Pacific region. He has spent the past 12+ years working with global corporates and Tech start-ups, helping them expand their reach in the region. Through his innovative - think global, act local approach to go to market strategy and business development, he ensures win-win opportunities for both the company and its clients. Further, as a result of his keen interest in the shipping industry, he has successfully invested in a yacht chartering company in Singapore.

Additionally, Tathagata is also the Managing Partner of a Singapore based commodities trading house. He ensures that all projects he gets involved with are well researched and that his investments are backed by a relevant and experienced team.

Tathagata became interested in non-profit work during his high school days organizing an awareness for HIV/AIDS program in collaboration with the Rotaract Club of Calcutta. Additionally, he has supported other organizations working towards the education of the children of sex workers, welfare of orphaned children with autism, and prevention of cruelty to animals. Recently, he believed in the great work that Uthhan is doing to preserve the cultural heritage of the country, hence decided to create awareness for the program, and come on board as an advisor.

 





Mrs. ANITA BOSE

(Chief Convenor, Global encyclopedia of the Ramayana project, Ayodhya Research Institute, Under Ministry of culture, Uttar Pradesh, Govt.of India)

Mrs. Anita Bose, born in Kolkata, a devout follower of Swami Vivekananda, currently lives in Kolkata. She has an M.A in Bengali Literature from Burdwan University. Further endeavors in Appreciation of Indian Art, Indology,Ramakrishna, and Vivekananda movement were completed from Kavi Kul guru Kalidas University, Nagpur, and Golpark Ramakrishna Mission Institute of Culture, respectively. In addition to this she studied Fashion Designing and Textile Designing from Bhawanipur Educational society. She enriched her repertoire by completing a special course of Guiding from Bangkok National Museum.Anita is also one of the prominent author. She wrote her first bilingual book Patachitra of Odisha and Jagannath Culture, published in 2018, a prominent effort in the history of Indian traditional art. Her 2nd bilingual book Ramayana Footprints In South-East Asian Culture and Heritage- (Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Laos , Cambodia, Myanmar)published in 2019. She also wrote her 3rd book SAPTAPADI & OTHER STORIES published on 2020 during the pandemic period in kindle format. For the last 6 years, she has been spreading the culture and heritage of Southeast Asia along with India to the people of many countries of the world as the only Indian Guide of South East Asia’s most important museum.

As an independent researcher, she is trying to discover the historical footprints and impact on both ancient and contemporary culture. For several years she has dedicated herself to research in a vast yet unexplored domain of Indian influence on Southeast Asian Culture and history along with other findings of the traditional art form of India.

From 2012 onwards, as an author she has devoted herself to the extensive study of Indian culture, Art, Heritage and its influence in South East Asia. Many renowned research journals, popular magazines and newspapers published her writeups in India, Thailand and Bali. Her research papers are discussed and appreciated by various eminent institutions of India and Thailand. Presently, she is associated with Ayodhya research Institute ,Lucknow , Uttarpradesh. She joined Uthhan to revive and upgrade the dying artforms of India.
